is deri v ed from the Arabic w ord for sand ( رمل ), in w hich ( رمال ) is its plural deri v ati v e .

Sand has al w a y s inspired poetr y in the Arab w orld , and is often used to pro v oke w isdom . Such as this classic Arabic Pro v erb : اجعل خطواتك في الحياة كمن يمشي على الرمل لا يسمع صوته ولكن أثره واضح ‘ Perform your good deeds like footsteps in the sand , inaudible but with clear traces .’

Rimal began as a small design practice focused on lu x ur y residential projects .

Rimal established its first office in Abu Dhabi , and has since become a staple design house of the cit y.
